Description

This Queen Anne kneehole desk, circa 1710, is richly veneered in burr walnut with strung and cross-banded drawer fronts and brass hardware. Of small proportions, it offers a single drawer above the knee, flanked by three graduating drawers each side, and a lockable cupboard accessed through the knee space. With later replaced handles and re-veneered legs, likely mid 20th century work, it retains good colour and patina and is ready for everyday use.
