Description

This mid century Swedish low open bookcase, circa 1950, is beautifully made in dark stained birch with contrasting elm, the stain giving a rich walnut-like tone. It offers three drawers beneath the top, a single-door cupboard with two shelves to the left, and a main open aperture with one adjustable shelf, all standing on block feet. Recently fully re-finished in our workshop, it shows only very minor surface marks.

WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER THIS SCANDINAVIAN OPEN BOOKCASE CABINET, THAT IS BEAUTIFULLY MADE IN DARK STAINED BIRCH AND CONTRASTING ELM.

RECTANGULAR IN SHAPE WITH BIRCH TOP, SIDES AND STRUCTURE, HAS BEEN STAINED TO A RICH DARK WALNUT LIKE COLOUR. FITTED WITH 3 DRAWERS UNDERNEATH THE TOP SURFACE AND A SINGLE DOOR CUPBOARD TO THE LEFT HAND SIDE. MAIN STORAGE APERTURE FOR BOOKS OR DISPLAY ITEM IS FITTED WITH A SINGLE ADJUSTABLE SHELF. CUPBOARD IS FITTED WITH 2 SHELVES, ONE OF WHICH IS A LATER REPLACEMENT. STANDING ON BLOCK FEET.

RECENTLY FULLY RE-FINISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP, VERY MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK.
