Description

This 19th century Swedish pine X frame kitchen table, circa 1840, was found on our travels in mid Sweden and retains its original bare pine patina. The four plank thick top is secured with dowels, while the X frame trestle ends are united by a central stretcher held with pegs, and a particularly substantial drawer sits beneath the top. Structurally strong with surface marks and fading in line with age, this genuine piece of rural furniture could equally serve as a desk today.
