Description

This Scandinavian hand carved oval centre table, circa 1880, is a beautiful quality Swedish piece in flame mahogany. The quarter veneered top slightly over-sails the shallow apron and beaded border, supported by a turned stem and four profusely carved scrolling legs decorated with acanthus leaves. With a deep rich colour, some areas of restoration to the veneer have been photographed, and the table has recently been hand re-polished in our workshop, ready for everyday use.
