Description

This impressive Adams style mantlepiece, circa 1960, is made from pine and finished with a striking faux porphyry marble paint effect in brown tones. Large and imposing, it was originally made from reused timber and has since received additional wood strengthening. There are minor losses to the paint and edges, consistent with its age, lending it genuine character.
