Description

This pair of 19th century Chinese demi lune tables, circa 1880, is crafted in oriental hardwood with a rich plum-red lacquer finish. Standing back to back they slot together to form a centre table, or even a dining table. Each has pierced apertures below the top, carved decoration around the apron and four scrolling legs. With paint loss revealing the natural wood, minor old repairs and slight shrinkage to the tops, they remain structurally sound and ready for everyday use.
