Description

This 19th century Swedish chest of drawers, circa 1880, is a fine quality piece in the Empire style, its flame birch veneered drawer fronts glowing with a rich golden colour. Taller than usual and fitted with five graduating drawers that open on the key, it stands on block feet and offers generous storage. Recently fully restored in our workshop, with minor restorations to the woodwork, it is ready for everyday use.

FINE QUALITY SWEDISH CHEST WITH FLAME BIRCH VENEERED DRAWER FRONTS. BIRCH TOP WITH ROUNDED AND MOULDED EDGE. FITTED WITH 5 GRADUATING DRAWERS WHICH OPEN ON THE KEY, WHICH IS TYPICAL FOR SCANDINAVIAN FURNITURE OF THIS PERIOD. TALLER THAN THE NORMAL, THIS CHEST OFFERS MAXIMUM STORAGE FOR MULTIPLE ROOMS AROUND THE HOME. STANDING ON BLOCK FEET.
