Description

This Swedish painted chest of drawers, crafted in pine and dating to circa 1870, carries a yellow wash that allows the grain to show through beneath. In the Gustavian style, it offers four drawers with ebonised knobs and turned mouldings, raised on shaped legs. The drawers run freely and are ready for everyday use, with only minor losses and surface fading to the paint.

FEATURING 4 DRAWERS, SHALLOW TOP DRAWER WITH A FURTHER 3 DRAWERS OF EQUAL PROPORTIONS, EACH FITTED WITH A PAIR OF EBONISED KNOBS, FURTHER TURNED AND EBONISED MOULDINGS RUNNING DOWN THE FRONT OF EACH SIDE. RAISED ON 4 SHAPED LEGS. ALL DRAWERS FREE RUNNING AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
