Description

This pair of French abstract acrylic panels dates to circa 1950 and is painted in browns, oranges, yellows and greens with gold leaf in places. Originally commissioned as lightbox installation panels, they show evidence of having been previously hung and carry minor surface marks consistent with age. Believed to be by an artist named Tiomes or Timues, the maker cannot presently be traced.
