Description

This Swedish occasional table, circa 1860, is crafted from birch root with a solid burr birch circular top standing on a shaped stem and scrolled legs. The rich golden colour shows the timber at its best, and there is an area of restoration to the top where a wood knot was, carried out sympathetically at the time the table was made.

RICH GOLDEN COLOUR.

AREA OF RESTORATION TO THE TOP WERE A WOOD KNOT WAS, BUT THIS HAS BEEN DONE SYMPATHETICALLY AND WHEN THE TABLE WAS MADE.
