Description

This large 19th century pine drop leaf kitchen table, circa 1860, is a piece of real presence. The Swedish pine top retains its original patina, showing honest surface marks and staining alongside non-structural age splits, while the white painted base carries minor losses to the paintwork. With a drawer at each end and gate legs that swing round to support the top, it offers generous rustic character for the dining room.

QUITE POSSIBLY ONE OF THE LARGEST DROP LEAF TABLES WE HAVE SEEN WHICH CAN SEAT A COMFORTABLE 12. OBVIOUSLY COULD BE USED WITH 1 LEAF AND THE SECOND BEING USED FOR LARGER OCCASIONS. SWEDISH PINE TOP WHICH RETAINS IT’S ORIGINAL PATINA. SUPPORTED BY A WHITE PAINTED BASE, WITH A DRAWER EACH END. GATE LEGS WHICH SWING ROUND TO SUPPORT THE TOP.
