MID CENTURY CARL MALMSTEN DESIGNED SAMSAS SOFA CIRCA 1960.

WELL KNOWN MODEL OF SOFA DESIGNED BY SWEDISH DESIGNER CARL MALMSTEN (1888-1972)

SHAPED BACK WITH THE FLOWING SHAPED ARMS, COMPLETE WITH THE SLIGHTLY CONCAVE SEAT FRONT, MAKE FOR A COMFORTABLE SIT. THIS EXAMPLE IS UPHOLSTERED IN IT’S ORIGINAL GREEN COLOUR SCHEME, WHICH HAS COME TOWARDS THE END OF IT’S LIFE, BECOMING THREADBARE ON THE ARMS AND AREAS TO THE SEAT, BUT IS USABLE AS IT IS. IDEAL CANDIDATE TO BE RE-COVERED.
