Description

This unusual German desk lamp, circa 1950, takes its character from mid century film studio lighting. The highly detailed steel construction has developed a handsome gun metal patina, with a pivoting and tilting head and fully adjustable barn door shutters. Raised on an ebonised wooden stem above a sturdy domed base with switch, it can also be wall mounted via a slot beneath the base. Currently wired and working with a UK 3 pin plug, showing expected fading to the metalwork and minor wear to the ebonised column.

FINE QUALITY GERMAN MADE DESK LAMP IN THE FORM OF A FILM STUDIO LIGHT.

HIGHLY DETAILED STEEL CONSTRUCTION WHICH HAS SINCE TAKEN ON A GUN METAL PATINA, PIVOTTING AND TILTING HEAD, COMPLETE ADJUSTABLE BARN DOOR SHUTTERS. RAISED ON A EBONISED WOODEN STEM WHICH LINKS ON TO THE STURDY DOMED BASE, WHERE THE LIGHT SWITCH IS SITUATED. BASE ALSO HAS A SLOT UNDERNEATH IF THE LIGHT IS TO BE REQUIRED TO BE WALL MOUNTED.

CURRENTLY WIRED AND WORKING WITH A UK 3 PIN PLUG. AS WITH ALL VINTAGE LIGHTING WE RECOMMEND THAT THE LIGHT IS PROFESSIONALLY CHECKED IN YOUR COUNTRY BEFORE USE.
