Description

This traditional Swedish shaped box on stand, circa 1827, is a rustic pine piece with original metal strap work, hinges and lid handle. The red/brown paint scheme carries a muted orange floral design, with later touched-in paint where the useful stand was added. Showing expected minor surface marks in line with age and use, it offers characterful storage beside a sofa or in the bedroom.
