This Swedish carved pine rocking cradle, circa 1840, is made from solid heavy pine and presented in scraped-back bare wood, though it was likely painted originally. Scrolled handles at each end and carved scrolling detail to the sides give it real rustic character. With no woodwork restorations, it remains structurally strong, showing only surface fading and minor marks.
