SWEDISH LATE 18TH CENTURY HAND PAINTED FOLK ART CUPBOARD CIRCA 1794.

GOOD QUALITY TRADITIONAL PAINTED SCANDINAVIAN CUPBOARD, COMPRISING OF A REMOVABLE CORNICE AND A MAIN BODY WHICH STANDS ON A SEPERATE BASE.

HAND PAINTED IN BROWN, ORANGE, BLUE AND GREENS AND DATED ON THE CORNICE 1794. OVER SAILING CORNICE IS HELD IN PLACE BY PEGS. BELOW WHICH A DOUBLE DOOR CUPBOARD OPENS TO REVEAL A FIXED SHELF AND SPOON RACK, AND 2 CONCEALED DRAWERS. SHAPED BOTTOM SECTION IS A SINGLE DOOR CUPBOARD WITH RISE AND FALL HINGES WHICH OPENS TO A SINGLE SHELF.

EXPECTED SURFACE MARKS AND STAINING, NONE STRUCTURAL AGE SPLITS, LOSSES TO PAINTWORK. LATER METALWORK FITTED TO INSIDE OF DOORS TO HELP WITH STABILITY. PLEASE BARE IN MIND THIS IS AN UNTOUCHED RUSTIC PIECE.

Cornice will be shipped unattached with pegs, for the pieces safety and more economic shipping.
