Description

This Swedish tilt top side table, circa 1860, is made from alder root with a turned stained birch stem and three scrolled legs standing on pad feet. The square top secures by peg and latch when lowered, offering a stable surface, and the tilt top allows easy storage when not in use. Good rich colour, with minor expected surface marks and some fading to the top.
