Description

This large Indian needlework wall hanging, circa 1970, represents many hours of painstaking handwork. Adorned with sequins and beads, it depicts figures mounted on elephants and horses in a rich gold palette. There are minor losses to the beads and one hanging loop is partly detached, though this would be an easy repair; otherwise it remains a striking decorative piece.
