This small Swedish Empire birch sofa, circa 1860, offers good quality with scrolling rolltop arms, a straight back rest and removable cushion rests upholstered in Kalim woven fabric. Raised on four scrolled legs, it could serve as a compact sofa or a very comfortable single chair. The woodwork has been restored and treated for minor worm, leaving it ready for everyday use.
