This set of six Swedish dining chairs, circa 1940, comprises two carver armchairs and four single chairs in beech, stained to resemble walnut and upholstered in contrasting green fabric. Each has a shaped shield back with carved floral detail, a carved shell to the knee and scrolled legs. Showing minor surface marks and expected wear to the original fabric, they would make an ideal candidate for re-covering.

GOOD QUALITY SET OF OF SWEDISH MADE DINING CHAIRS COMPRISING OF 2 CARVER ARMCHAIRS AND 4 SINGLE CHAIRS.

MADE IN BEECH WHICH HAS BEEN STAINED TO APPEAR LIKE WALNUT, PRESENTED IN A CONTRASTING GREEN FABRIC. SHAPED SHIELD BACKS WITH CARVED FLORAL DESIGN TO THE BACK REST. CARVED SHELL DESIGN TO THE KNEE, EACH STANDING ON A SCROLLED LEG.

MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK. EXPECTED WEAR TO ORIGINAL FABRIC, BEING WORN THROUGH IN PLACES, WITH SOME MISSING BRAID. IDEAL CANDIDATE TO BE RE-COVERED.
