This rare set of four Victorian walnut coronation armchairs, circa 1860, is crafted from solid walnut with straight arms and backs, turned front legs united to the back legs by stretchers. Known as coronation chairs for the design used at coronations, they retain their original embroidered fabric and stud work, which shows expected losses and wear.
