This set of 14 Queen Anne influenced dining chairs, circa 1920, comprises 12 single chairs and 2 carver armchairs. Made in beech and later painted white with a lacquered finish, the paint has been rubbed through in places to create a worn effect, with some obvious losses. The shaped backs and drop-in seats remain in good usable condition, and the chairs are strong, sturdy and ready for everyday use — a rare thing to find such a large set still together.
