Description

This hand woven Scandinavian pine basket, circa 1890, is a fine example of rural Swedish craft work. Its pine frame supports a hand woven base and sides in a warm wheat tone, with the rustic character you would expect of the period. There are few expected minor losses to the weave, but the basket remains strong and stable, ready for everyday use.
