PAIR OF OAK AND LEATHER ARTS AND CRAFTS ARMCHAIRS CIRCA 1890.

GOOD QUALITY PAIR OF LIBRARY CHAIRS FROM THE PERIOD OF THE ARTS AND CRAFTS MOVEMENT.

BACK WITH ROUNDED CORNERS AND MOULDED EDGING, ORIGINAL PADDED LEATHER BACK REST WITH STUDWORK WHICH IS MIRRORED ON THE REVERSE. SCROLLED ARMS RESTING ON TURNED AND FLUTED SUPPORTS. SOLID OAK SEAT WHICH IS SHAPED FOR COMFORT. STANDING ON FRONT TURNED LEGS AND SPLAYED LEGS TO THE REAR.

GOOD RICH COLOUR, WOULD SUIT BEING USED IN A HALLWAY, LIBRARY OR RECEPTION.

MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK AND EXPECTED SCUFF MARKS TO LEATHER. SLIGHT COLOUR VARIATION ON EACH CHAIR WHICH IS DUE TO 1 CHAIR HAVING SEEN MORE DAYLIGHT THAN THE OTHER OVER ITS LIFE TIME. STRUCTURALLY STRONG AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
