PAIR OF MID 19TH CENTURY FRENCH WALNUT AND GILT ARMCHAIRS CIRCA 1840.

FINE AND RARE PAIR OF FRENCH WALNUT ARMCHAIRS. SHAPED BACKS WHICH LEADS DOWN THE ARMS WHICH ARE SUPPORTED BY CARVED GILT SWAN NECKS. FURTHER GILT AND SCROLL WORK TO THE LEGS.

LATER UPHOLSTERY COVERING IS TIRED AND IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT TO MAKE THESE CHAIRS COME ALIVE ONCE AGAIN.
