Description

This pair of large hand carved beech candlesticks, circa 1920, is very much in the Gothic taste, with twisted stems and bulbous acanthus leaf detail above a round plinth base. Each stands with a 2 inch wide cup, and there are minor surface marks to the woodwork along with a slight tonal difference between the two pieces.
