Description

This pair of small handmade oak cabinets, circa 1902, each bears a plaque stating it was made from timbers salvaged when Queen Victoria's yacht HMY Osborne was broken up. Each glazed door opens to reveal two fitted drawers, and the pair has never been hung, making them ideal for tabletop use. Expected surface marks and age splits to the woodwork are consistent with their character.

HMY OSBORNE WAS A PADDLE STEAMER MADE IN 1870 AND WAS USED FOR CRUISES BY QUEEN VICTORIA AND ALBERT.

IDEALLY FOR TABLE TOP USE HAVING NEVER BEEN HUNG. SINGLE GLAZED DOOR OPENS TO REVEAL 2 FITTED DRAWERS FOR STORAGE.
