Description

This pair of Edwardian leather lounge armchairs, circa 1920, offers generous comfort with button backs, overstuffed roll top arms and separate seat cushions, each chair standing on four tapering oak legs. The brown leather shows honest wear, including fading, splits and some seam separation, and the seat cushions are likely replacements. Both chairs remain functional for a lived-in look, or would make ideal candidates for re-covering.

VERY COMFORTABLE PAIR OF 1920’s LEATHER BUTTON BACK ARMCHAIRS. OVER STUFFED ROLL TOP ARMS, WITH SEPERATE SEAT CUSHION. EACH STANDING ON 4 TAPERING OAK LEGS.

OBVIOUS FADING, SPLITS AND SEPERATION TO SOME SEAMS, 1 AREA OF LOSS BELOW 1 SEAT TO LEATHER. SEAT CUSHIONS NOT A COMPLETE COLOUR MATCH THE THE MAIN BODY AND LIKELY TO BE REPLACEMENTS. THE CHAIRS STILL FUNCTION WELL FOR THAT LIVED IN LOOK, OR AN IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR RE-COVERING.
