PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY CARVED WALNUT SIDE CHAIRS CIRCA 1870.
GOOD QUALITY PAIR OF SIDE CHAIRS WHICH WOULD IDEALLY SUIT A BEDROOM OR DRESSING ROOM.
CARTOUCHE SHAPED BACK REST SURMOUNTED WITH A HAND CARVED SHELL AND FLOWERS AROUND THE CHANNELLED EDGE. FURTHER CARVING OF THE SAME BELOW THE SEAT. EACH STANDING ON 4 CABRIOLE LEGS WITH FURTHER CARVING AND FLUTED DETAILING, WITH BRASS CASTORS TO THE FRONT LEGS.
UPHOLSTERY IN GOOD ORDER, WITH A COMPLEMENTARY CHECK FABRIC TO THE INSERT ON THE BACKS.
MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK, IN LINE WITH AGE AND USE.
