PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY BLACK PAINTED CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1880.

GOOD QUALITY PAIR OF SWEDISH PINE COMMODES. PRESENTED IN A LATER BLACK PAINTED COLOUR SCHEME.

RECTANGULAR TOPS WITH CANTED CORNERS AND MOULDED EDGE, WITH FURTHER DENTIL DETAILING BELOW. EACH CHEST HAS 3 DRAWERS AND IS FITTED WITH LATER ORNATE BRASS RING HANDLES. EACH STANDING ON SHORT TAPERED LEGS.

PAINT HAS SINCE FADED AND WORN IN PLACES, WHICH NOW PROVIDES A DESIRED EFFECT. MINOR SURFACE MARKS.
