This mid century Swedish gym horse, made by AB Rantzows Gymnastikmateriel, dates to circa 1950 and is crafted in pine with a hide top surface. It stands on four splayed legs that adjust to different levels through holes and pegs, finished with movable coloured caps on rubberised castors. Showing expected surface marks, wear to the top and splits to the leg caps, it remains functional and full of character.
