Description

This Swedish wall mirror, circa 1950 and likely made by Glas & Tra (G&T), is a handsome example of mid-century Scandinavian design. Its harlequin arrangement of cut mirrored panels — squares in the corners and rectangles framing the sides and bottom — is held in place by chromed screw-in studs, all set within a beech frame. Expected minor surface marks to the woodwork and some fading to the original vintage mirror plate are consistent with its age.

HERE WE PRESENT A SWEDISH 1950’s WALL MIRROR LIKELY TO HAVE BEEN MADE BY GLAS & TRA (G&T).

ARRANGED CUT MIRRORED PANELS, WITH SQUARES IN THE CORNERS AND RECTANGLES FORMING A BORDER AROUND THE SIDES AND BOTTOM OF THE MAIN MIRROR. THESE BEING HELD IN PLACE BY CHROMED SCREW IN STUDS. PRESENTED IN A BEECH FRAME.

EXPECTED MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK, FADING TO ORIGINAL VINTAGE MIRROR PLATE.
