Description

This mid-20th century bombe commode, circa 1950, is a good quality Rococo inspired chest of three drawers in mahogany arranged veneers, stringing and cross-banding in kingwood. Each drawer carries two ornate brass handles and escutcheons with decorative mounts, and the piece is topped by a loose fitted green/grey marble top. There are minor restorations to the veneer and light surface marks.
