Description

This oak coffee table, circa 1940, offers a graceful Victorian-inspired take on mid 20th century design. The circular top is quarter veneered and cross banded, with beaded detailing to the frieze, while four scrolling legs carved with acanthus leaves support a shaped lower tier standing on carved paw feet. There is minor surface fading to the top.

CIRCULAR TOP WHICH IS QUARTER VENEERED AND CROSS BANDED, WITH BEADED DETAILING TO THE FREIZE. SUPPORTED BY 4 SCROLLING LEGS WITH CARVED ACANTHUS LEAVES. SHAPED LOWER TIER WHICH STANDS ON CARVED PAW FEET.
