Description

This Scandinavian chest of drawers in birch dates to circa 1960 and offers a practical piece of everyday mid-century furniture. It has a slightly over-sailing top, three drawers of equal proportion with ebonised handles, and stands on four straight legs. With extensive restoration to one side including veneer replacement, minor age crackling to the top, and a recent re-polish in our workshop, it is ready for everyday use.

HERE WE HAVE A PRACTICAL PIECE OF EVERYDAY FURNITURE FROM THE MID 20TH SCANDINAVIAN MODERN PERIOD.

SLIGHT OVER-SAILING TOP SURFACE. FITTED WITH 3 DRAWERS OF EQUAL PROPORTIONS, EACH WITH AN EBONISED HANDLE TO THE FRONT. STANDING ON 4 STRAIGHT LEGS.

EXTENSIVE RESTORATION TO 1 SIDE, WITH VENEER REPLACEMENT AND FADING. VERY MINOR AGE CRACKLING TO VENEER ON TOP SURFACE. RECENTLY RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
