Description

This rustic Swedish pine storage container, circa 1860, is a rare survival to find intact. Made from pine with its original bold blue paint, it retains one original metal support hoop, the other no longer present. The lid remains present and working, and while there are minor age splits and expected losses to the paintwork with surface marks, the piece is structurally sound.

MINOR AGE SPLITS BUT STRUCTURALLY SOUND, EXPECTED LOSSES TO PAINTWORK AND SURFACE MARKS. 1 METAL BAND MISSING.
