RARE DANISH COMMODE WITH TRACES OF ORIGINAL PAINT CIRCA 1750.
2 PART CHEST, MADE THIS WAY BECAUSE OF ITS GENEROUS PROPORTIONS. SEPERATE LATER BASE AND FEET.
BEAUTIFUL SCALLOPED SHAPED TOP AND DRAWER FRONTS. 4 DRAWERS WHICH OPEN ON THE KEY. TRACES OF ORIGINAL PAINT WHICH SHOWS A PANELLED DESIGN.
SOME SPLITS TO SIDES WHICH IS FROM MOVEMENT IN THE PANELS USED, THESE COULD BE TIGHTENED UP AND BROUGHT TOGETHER IF DESIRED.
EXPECTED SURFACE MARKS AND LOSSES TO PAINTWORK. LATER FEET, SOME REPLACED BACK BOARDS.
