This large Scandinavian pine table, circa 1870, is hand painted in a plum tone with a three-plank top and a straight-legged base with stretchers all round. Its rustic character is complemented by surface marks and losses to the paint, consistent with its age. A generous piece that could serve equally well as a desk or for display.
