LARGE 19TH CENTURY CARVED LION HEAD OAK CENTER TABLE CIRCA 1880.

STUNNING PROFUSELY CARVED OAK CENTER TABLE. LATER CIRCULAR ROUND OAK TOP STANDS ON 4 LEGS ADORNED WITH CARVED LION HEAD AND PAW DECORATIONS. DEEP SHAPED APRON GIVES A KNEE HEIGHT OF 26 1/4″ SO IT COULD BE USED AS A DINING TABLE.

LEGS UNITED BY X FRAME STRETCHER AND STANDING ON FLAT BUN FEET.

MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOOD WORK.
