This rare seven-piece French Empire salon suite, circa 1880, is made in rich mahogany and comprises a two-seat sofa, two armchairs and four open armchairs. Architectural backs with carved scrolling arms rest on tapered legs, giving the set a stately presence. There are surface marks to the back rests and legs, and minor water marks to the fabric which should clean out.
