Description

This Swedish bookcase cabinet by Sandberg of Linköping, circa 1910, is a good quality one-piece piece in birch with a rich golden colour that shows the fine grain of the timber. The stepped top sits above a central glazed cupboard flanked by book shelves, with an adjustable full-width shelf and a double door cupboard below, all standing on four tapered legs. Showing only minor surface marks, it is ready for everyday use.
