This early 20th century Swedish birch bookcase, circa 1900, shows Empire Revival influences in its stepped architectural top with ebonised elements and plinth base. The main body is fitted with four original shelves veneered in matching wood, offering ample space for books or decorative pieces. Retaining its original rich colour, it bears only very minor surface marks to the woodwork.

STEPPED TOP WITH EBONISED PLINTH, WITH A FURTHER EBONISED ELEMENT TO THE ARCHITECTURAL TOP. MAIN BODY IS FITTED WITH 4 ORIGINAL SHELVES VENEERED IN MATCHING WOOD, WHICH PROVIDES PLENTY OF SPACE FOR A BOOK COLLECTION OR DECORATIVE ITEMS. SLIGHTLY ROUNDED EDGES TO THE SIDES. STANDING ON A PLINTH BASE.

ORIGINAL RICH COLOUR. VERY MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK.
