This chiselled brass and gilt pineapple box caddy, circa 1900, is a good quality decorative piece of early 20th century metalware. Formed as a pineapple, it splits in half to reveal a gilded interior, making it both handsome and practical for storage. There are minor surface marks to the outside, consistent with its age.
