This large early 20th century carved wood cushion mirror, circa 1905, takes its cue from Baroque design with profuse carving of swags and acanthus leaves. The gilt work shows minor losses, and the original mirror plates have minor plate loss and fading. A removable top section holds a small etched oval mirror, making this a striking statement piece of generous proportions.
