Description

This early 20th century burr yew desktop box with clock, circa 1920, is an Empire Revival piece strung and inlaid to its outer edges, with an ormolu mount to the lid and ormolu bun feet. The inset white enamel clock face sits behind a brass door with movement, while the removable lid opens for storage. There are minor losses to the enamel dial near the winding point and a small compression to the back of the piece, both photographed.
