Description

This rustic wooden food vessel, hand carved from a solid tree trunk using an adze technique, dates to circa 1900. Traditionally made in Eastern Europe for feeding animals, it has been fully treated and hand polished so it can now be enjoyed within the home. Expected minor surface marks and minor traces of dead, treated worm reflect its age and character.
