EARLY 19TH CENTURY SWEDISH GUSTAVIAN PAINTED SOFA CIRCA 1820

STUNNING SOFA WITH ROLL TOP ARMS DETAILED WITH DELICATELY CARVED SWAGS.

LOOSE FITTING SEAT CUSHION COMPLETE WITH 2 ROLLED CUSHIONS. STANDING ON CARVED SCROLLED LEGS TERMINATING WITH A PAW FOOT.

ORIGINAL UPHOLSTERY WHICH IS IN GOOD ORDER FOR AGE, WHICH HAS BEEN STRIPPED BACK TO CALICO COVERING, IN NEED OF RECOVERING TO MAKE THIS SOFA TRULY STUNNING.

LATER PAINT, WHICH HAS SINCE HAS MINOR LOSSES AND WEAR.
