EARLY 19TH CENTURY CHANNEL ISLAND MAHOGANY CHEST ON CHEST CIRCA 1830.

FINE QUALITY CHEST ON CHEST FROM THE CHANNEL ISLANDS, COMPRISING OF 2 SECTIONS. CORNICE DECORATED WITH GREEK KEY DENTIL FREIZE, WITH A BLIND FRETWORK BORDER BELOW. 2 OVER 3 DRAWERS IN SOLID MAHOGANY AND COCK BEADED EDGING, CANTED CORNERS AND FITTED THROUGHOUT WITH ORIGINAL BRASS SWAN NECK HANDLES AND BRASS ESCUTHEONS.

BOTTOM SECTION WITH BRUSHING SLIDE AND 3 GRADUATING DRAWERS. BRACKET FEET, STANDING ON ORIGINAL LIGNUM VITAE CASTORS.

ORIGINAL LOCKS AND KEY, A FINE QUALITY WELL MADE PIECE WITH SOLID MAHOGANY SIDES.
