ART DECO PERIOD ALABASTER HANGING PENDANT LIGHT CIRCA 1930.
FINE QUALITY HAND MADE ALABASTER LIGHT WHICH HAS BEEN TURNED AND HAND CARVED. ROUND BOWL WITH LIPPED EDGE, HAND CARVED WITH A CENTRAL CIRCULAR FAN IN THE CENTRE OF THE BASE.
LIGHT IS FITTED WITH A SINGLE BULB HOLDER, SUSPENDED BY 3 ROPES, LEADING UP THROUGH A DECORATIVE TASSLE AND A CEILING ROSE MADE IN THE SAME ALABASTER. UNUSUALLY THIS LIGHT HAS AN INSET BRASS STAMP INSIDE, LABELLED WAN, WITH A WOLFS HEAD AND THE LETTERS JW.
AS WITH ALL LIGHTS WE RECOMMEND THAT IT IS PROFESSIONALLY TESTED AND INSTALLED.
