Description

This Sheraton influenced mahogany sideboard, dating to circa 1970, offers good quality craftsmanship with a graceful serpentine shape. The plain top with strung edge sits above a central drawer flanked by two drawers and a concealed cupboard, all detailed with cross banding and strung work and fitted with ring handles. Raised on six tapering legs, it shows light surface marks in keeping with everyday use.

GOOD QUALITY SERPENTINE SHAPED SIDEBOARD/BUFFET MADE IN THE SHERATON STYLE. PLAIN TOP SURFACE WITH STRUNG EDGE. CENTRAL DRAWER FLANKED WITH 2 DRAWERS TO THE LEFT AND A CONCEALED CUPBOARD TO THE RIGHT. ALL WITH CROSS BANDED AND STRUNG DETAILING AND FITTED WITH RING HANDLES. RAISED ON 6 TAPERING LEGS, WITH STRINGING DETAIL.

SURFACE MARKS TO TOP SURFACE IN LINE WITH EVERYDAY USE.
